Macquarie dictionary Aboriginal Words
Macquarie has released three eBook dictionaries of words from a selection of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages. One covers the languages of Diayri and Kaurna from South Australia, one covers the languages of Datiwuy, Eastern Arrernte and Murrinh-Patha from the Northern Territory while the other covers the languages of Nyungar, Gooniyandi, and Yindjibarndi from Western Australia. As well as a history of each language and the spelling, grammar and pronunciation of the extensive wordlists, the dictionaries feature a useful dual index.
